Cancer Patients
Brigitte - Brain
Praise that Brigitte is now in the presence of the Lord. Do please pray for the grieving family.
Priscilla – Breast
Praise God that Priscilla does not need chemo. She is now about half way through radiation treatments which her body is handling well.
Eileen – Ovarian
Eileen’s cancer is active again. However, a lesion removed from her brain was NOT cancerous. Please pray for peace for Eileen and her family and for God’s wisdom in treatment decisions for the ovarian cancer.
Joyce – Breast
Joyce lives in Tamil Nadu, India at the 7,000 ft. elevation. She has had a mastectomy and is now going through chemo/radiation. Praise God that she is now doing well with her treatment, having moved to a lower elevation.
Jacques - Bladder
Praise that Jacques has completed chemotherapy and is doing better. He has resumed normal activities. Prayers for his salvation are still a request.
Marilyn – Breast
Please pray that Marilyn will find a surgeon she is happy with and that finances will not be an issue in her treatment.
Carolyn - Breast
Carolyn has a reprieve from cancer treatment this summer. Pray for rest and renewal so that she will be well prepared for a series of reconstruction surgeries beginning in August.
Sarah - rare form of breast cancer
Sarah is 24 years old. The breast cancer is Stage 3 and is a genetic type... Her surgery, strong chemo and radiation treatments are finished. Pray for physical and emotional healing.
Lou –Bone
Lou just had a surgery when a rod was inserted in order to strengthen a bone. Pray that Lou will look to God for strength, courage, and peace.
Rodney – Stomach, Stage IV
His wife is thankful for your prayers. His doctor recently decided to suspend treatment for 2 months due to Rodney’s severe neuropathy in his hands and feet which is a side effect of the chemo. He continues to be monitored for any changes that need attention. Please keep praying that Rodney will trust in the Lord.
Donna – Breast
Donna is scheduled for surgery Sept. 14. Pray that she will not need to nave lymph nodes removed and that she will seek God and trust him for every aspect of her cancer journey.
Deanna - Rectal Cancer
Pray that Deanna will heal without complications following surgery. She continues to take chemo.
Leanne – Breast Implant Surgery
Leanne’s scheduled implant replacement surgery had o be postponed because of family illnesses. Pray that she can have this done soon, despite her busy work and family life.
Phyllis – Stomach metastasized
Phyllis is now in Hospice care. Please continue to pray that she doesn't have much pain and for family as they surround her at this time. She wants her loved ones to see Christ's love in her and for those who don't yet know Him, to accept Him. Pray for all of us to release her.
Glenda – Leiomyosarcoma
Low counts in Glenda’s bone marrow are delaying the 5th of 6 rounds of scheduled chemo. Please pray that, if the Lord wants her to have the last 2 rounds of chemo, her counts will go up soon. These treatments have not yet produced any good results, so Glenda is not sure if that is what she needs to be doing.
Esther - Breast
Esther has passed away. Please pray for her family, especially her elderly mother. It’s so difficult for a child to precede the parent in death.
Timmie – Breast
Timmie is undergoing tests to see if a treatment drug is affecting her heart. She has not been feeling well. Prayers for accurate diagnosis would be appreciated.
Meagan – Breast
Just underwent surgery and is taking chemo.
Marcella – Lymphoma
We prayed for Marcella some time ago when she was in treatment for Lymphoma. A scan shows that the cancer has become active once again, although these results could also indicate activity from another condition Marcella lives with. Please pray for discernment for doctors and for Marcella’s decision whether to undergo surgery or chemo or an alternative treatment.
Joni – Breast
Beloved speaker, painter, author and ministry leader, Joni Eareckson Tada is being treated for breast cancer. Pray for grace and peace for her.
Judy – Breast
Judy is a strong and upbeat believer who lives with her son and daughter-in-law. A lumpectomy revealed cancer in two lymph nodes. She has a scan this week to see if cancer is anywhere else. Please pray for the right treatment plan and for strength and peace.
Lorelie – Brain
Cancer has progressed. Lorelie is in Hospice care at home. Pray God’s grace over her everyone in her care circle.
Linda – Ovarian, Priscilla’s sister
A strong chemo is helping Linda fight the ovarian cancer, now spread to her lungs. Pray for God’s will in spirit, and body.
Jan – Brain
Has recently had surgery for an aggressive, malignant brain tumor. Swelling from the surgery has caused stroke-like symptoms. She has finished initial physical therapy to regain the use of the affected side of her body. She will begin radiation therapy and oral chemo simultaneously soon. Pray that this new treatment approach will be effective. Please pray as well for her husband who just suffered a high blood pressure episode. Pray that Jan will not have to attempt to return to work too soon and that she and her husband will begin seeking the Lord
Anna - Colon
Praise the Lord that Anna’s heart seems to be softening towards the Lord. Pray that this weekend might be her time to accept Christ. She will be with a dear friend whom she recently emailed that she would like to know that they will eventually be in Heaven together.
Roy – Lung
Pray for wisdom for Roy and his family as they make the decision whether it is wise for him to take treatment for growing lung cancer, given his advanced age.
Barb-rare cancer in muscle
Barb has had 12 surgeries for this recurring cancer. The doctors have found yet another tumor that has to be removed. There is only one doctor that does her particular surgery and he is out of town until June 10. Please pray that the tumor can be successfully removed and she will have the peace of God throughout this time. She is a precious woman who loves Jesus.
Jamie - Colon
Jamie has been so anxious and worried about upcoming tests. Please pray for her to be drawn to the Lord and for her family to surround her with love and support.
Bill – throat
Praise the Lord that Bill has permanently quit smoking! Please pray that his radiation treatments will not leave scarring in his throat and that it kills the cancer. Bill’s wife needs prayer for peace. Thank you.
Sharon – Lung – living in Mississippi
Sharon has spent a month in the hospital. Pray for minimal pain and that she will be able to go home safely to continue her healing process. A gift box was sent from CCM.
Patricia – Breast – lines in CA
Pray for healing and peace for Patricia. She is taking 3 weeks of radiation treatments. She received a gift box from us and was overjoyed! We send a special NIV Encouragement Bible in the gift boxes. Patricia can’t wait to show it to her friends at church! Pray that God’s word will be her constant help.
Sandy – Breast metastasized to throat
Sandy’s recent surgery went very well. Pray for comfort and strength as she recovers. Pray with the family that God will be glorified in her & through her.
Linda – Breast
Linda is finished with treatment and has resumed her work as a missionary in Czech Republic. Please pray for healing from lymphedema. Linda is past cancer treatment, but now deals with the life-long side effect of surgery and radiation called lymphedema. Since some lymph nodes were removed and those left were damaged by the radiation treatment, lymph fluid backs up and causes swelling in Linda’s hand and arm. This is a painful and a debilitating condition. It also leaves her more susceptible to serious infection, if skin in that region is broken. Linda believes that God will make new pathways for her lymph fluid.
Kim – Breast
Kim, a mother or 2 young children and a believer, lives in Idaho. She is currently in the midst of chemo and needs us to pray that these treatments will kill all of the cancer and that she will not get too weak and sick on chemo. She has had a mastectomy. The cancer was found in lymph nodes as well as the breast, so it has a potential to locate elsewhere in the body.
Rich – Kidney
Four years ago Rich dealt with cancer that caused one kidney to be removed. Now he has cancer on one kidney and his lungs. He is not pursuing any treatment, as he is too weak, and is now in hospice. Pray for additional good family memories to be established during this time, for a pain-free process, for him to be able to remain at home, and for strength for my mom as she cares for him.
Sue – Fallopian Tube
Pray for healing and for hope and peace in the midst of a poor prognosis.
Debbie – Breast
Please pray for Debbie’s emotions and energy as she has just been diagnosed. She is grateful that her cancer was found very early. Pray for her and her loved ones as they love her through her treatment days.
Carlyn – Neck, now in lungs. Some of the tumors have enlarged. Pray that the longstanding cancer will respond to treatment and that Carlyn’s attitude and energy will remain strong!
Bob - Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Thanks for praying for Bob! He is doing well in treatment! PTL!
Bridget - Breast
Bridget will be having another stage of the reconstruction process. Pray that it will be successful.
Greg – Prostate
Greg was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Pray that his treatments are effective.
Allen - colon
Praise that Allen, a young father of 2, who just had surgery for the colon cancer, is getting a good response from chemo. Pray for complete healing!
Ministry
Please pray that the Lord would send more dear Christian cancer survivors to the ministry to serve as sidekicks as well as a new director.
