What We Believe

We believe in the One True God, Creator of and sovereign over everything and that: He is eternal and co-existent in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit the Bible is without error, it is the divinely inspired and trustworthy Word of God; God’s complete revelation to us and the final authority on matters of which it speaks, the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross and His bodily resurrection is the only basis for forgiveness of sin (which is the salvation that gives eternal life and justification to all who believe and put their trust in Christ alone) and that the Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and renewal for believers in Christ Jesus. The H. S. makes the presence of Jesus real in believersthat He teaches and reveals Scriptural truth, as well as comforts, guides, and convicts of sin. He enables believers to live in ways that honor the Triune God.

Our Faith
Our faith is an orthodox Christian faith as stated above. We represent several different churches just north of Seattle. We are an inter-denominational ministry.
Our Mission
The mission of Cancer COMFORT Ministry is to come alongside cancer patients and their families in order to offer spiritual, emotional and practical help within a Christian context.
Our Values

Statement of Unity

Knowing that Jesus has prayed for us to be one so that the world would know we belong to Him, because of our love for each other; and knowing that He ever lives to make intercession for us; also desiring to glorify Him in all that we do in service to others, we will do our best to be one in spirit, submitting to one another in love, leaving our non-essential doctrinal differences behind. We will allow love and prayer to be our guides to encourage each other as we work together for the good of others and for the glory of God. (See Jesus’ prayer for believers in John 17: 6-26)

Our Doctrine
Our theme Bible verse is taken from II Corinthians, chapter 1, verses 3 and 4."Comfort others with the comfort which you were comforted...".
Our Vision
As part of the body of Christ, Cancer COMFORT Ministry offers one on one friendship and practical services to people in north King and south Snohomish counties in the state of Washington, who are dealing with cancer, including, but not limited to: friendship, prayer, counseling, transportation, accompaniment to medical and prosthetic fitting appointments, Christian cancer support groups, resource materials and information about other local services available to cancer patients.
Our Purpose
To serve the cancer community, in the name of Jesus. CCM Team members are survivors of a cancer journey and followers of Christ who have a heart to serve those experiencing the trial of cancer diagnosis and treatment. They are prayerful, caring people who understand the need for burden sharing and helpful, sensitive servant hood.
